OTAs begin today for the Jets. This is the third phase of the offseason program and the last one before next month’s mandatory minicamp.
While I am sure people will make a big deal out of what happens on the field, it is important to remember these are practices. Just as you wouldn’t make too much of a player having a good or bad practice during the regular season, it would be a good idea to keep your reactions in check when we get positive or negative reports on a player today. We simply are in a period of slow news, which could make these practices seem more important than they really are.
