There is not much doubt the Jets’ selection of Sam Darnold in last week’s NFL Draft was a potentially franchise-altering pick.. The tangible reasons for this are obvious. Quarterback is the most important position on the field. Beyond that, there have seemed to be senses of doom and pessimism around the Jets and their fanbase.

On today’s podcast, we take a look at how this all might change now that the team has landed its new quarterback of the future.
