They have been minor moves that were overshadowed by the Draft, but the Jets have made a number of moves over the last few days.
Damond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds was the first to report the Jets have re-signed David Bass.

The 27 year old Bass spent most of 2017 with the Jets. He registered 25 tackles and a career high 3.5 sacks in a part-time role.
The timing of the deal suggests the Jets were waiting until after the Draft to see whether they would draft an edge rusher, which would make Bass unnecessary. Since they didn’t, Bass gets another shot.
The Jets have also waived six players.

These moves help to clear out an overcrowded group of wide receivers. The transactions also increased the number of undrafted free agents the Jets were able to sign at the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Draft. The offseason limit is 90 players on the roster.
