Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa has signed his one year restricted free agent tender to stay with the Jets in 2018.
Jets’ WR Quincy Enunwa signed his RFA tender today, per source. Enunwa, coming off neck surgery for a bulging disc, has full range of motion and will be eased into all activities.

Enunwa will make around $2.9 million.
This seemed like a formality. Enunwa was free to seek a deal from other teams, but by offering him the $2.9 million tender the Jets had the right to match any offer made. The Jets also would have been entitled to a second round pick in the event Enunwa signed with another team, and they chose not to match. Simply put, the odds of another team giving up a second round pick for a guy coming off a serious neck injury with a single 800 yard season to his name were slim and none.
Enunwa missed the entire 2017 season with a neck injury he sustained during a training camp practice. He had a career high 58 catches for 857 yards in the 2016 season.
