Some thoughts:
- We already knew the opponents, but the Jets avoid the west coast this year. Anybody who has followed the Jets in their lifetime should be aware of their awful ineptitude on the Pacific coast.
- The home/road extremities come early in the schedule. The Jets play 3 of their first 4 games on the road before coming home for a 3 game homestand.
- The Jets also have 3 games in the first 10 days of the schedule; 2 of them on the road and travel required between each one.
- The Jets are playing at Cleveland for the third year in a row, because of dual last-place finishes in both 2016 and 2017. This is an extremely rare instance for a non-division matchup. The Browns and Jets will meet yet again in 2019, but that one will be in New Jersey.
What do you think of the Jets’ schedule?
