NY Jets podcast: Setting up the offseason with Michael Nania

NFL: Super Bowl LII-Philadelphia Eagles vs New England Patriots Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Podcast listeners are probably tired of hearing me drone on and on about the Jets offseason so on today’s show our friend Michael Nania joins us to set up the offseason for the Jets.

We all have different opinions about what actions the Jets should take moving forward. That is natural. Everybody has different philosophies and evaluations. I just hope we can all agree on one thing. The idea that came from WFAN yesterday about trading this year’s third round pick and next year’s first round pick for Nick Foles is a terrible idea. We certainly think so.

After we dismiss said terrible idea, we go on to discuss Kirk Cousins, internal housekeeping, cornerbacks, and centers. The Jets have a lot of work to do this offseason so we tried to focus on the key points.

This will also be a test of my competence as an audio editor. We had to record the segment on centers a second time because I had technical difficulties on my end. So if you hear anything ridiculous, it is a failure as an editor.
