The weekend for the Jets was dominated by speculation about a star player. Defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh is a free agent. Word broke on Friday that the Jets had interest in him. A report even came out that they had made Suh his biggest offer. For two days, Jets fans waited to hear more news. Then on Sunday we found out the Jets had pulled their offer.
On today’s podcast, I offer some brief thoughts on the brief Suh chase. Then I focus on the rest of the offseason. As promised by the general manager, the Jets have been active in free agency. The moves the team has made and hasn’t made have shaped the roster in 2018.
I take a look at two positions where some incumbent players will be asked to take on a bigger role this year for the Jets and two positions where incumbents stand to lose playing time because of the moves the Jets have made.
