UPDATE: The weather situation in the New York area will delay Hurns’ visit.
UPDATE: I’m told WR Allen Hurns is now scheduled to visit the #Cowboys Wednesday morning with snow on its way to NYC. https://t.co/AoxM7MfpEq

............................
Former Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns is scheduled to have a free agent visit with the Jets on Wednesday.
I'm told ex-#Jags, free agent WR Allen Hurns has a "visit with the #Jets tomorrow," per source.

“Scheduled” might be the operative word because it is supposed to be an ugly weather day around the Jets facility tomorrow. We might need to have a special edition of the weekly pregame GGN weather post to determine how this visit might be impacted.
The Jaguars released Hurns on Tuesday. The 26 year old spent his first four years in Jacksonville. His best year was 2015, when he posted over 1,000 yards to go along with 10 touchdowns. Injuries have limited him to just 21 games over the past two seasons.
If the Jets want Hurns, they are probably going to have some competition.
Jaguars are releasing WR Allen Hurns, per source. Strong market expected for him.

With that said, the Jets do still have a nice chunk of cap space they can use to make a competitive offer if their interest in Hurns is big.
