News broke last week that the Jets and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had agreed to a contract. The quarterback and team had not officially announced the deal, but Sunday news came that Bridgewater officially passed his Jets physical per PFT.
Shortly after we pointed out the absence of an official announcement on the signing, a league source told PFT that Bridgewater has passed his physical, and the Jets will announce that he has signed.
And the Jets did announce the signing.
Done deal for @teddyb_h2o.

Stuff like this is normally a formality, but Bridgewater is coming back from a career threatening knee injury so word he passed his physical is news. The Vikings activated Bridgewater as a backup quarterback for a number of their late season games so it stood to reason he was healthy enough to pass the test, but now we know for sure.
Teddy Bridgewater is officially a member of the New York Jets.
