Tuesday was a busy day for the Jets. After a quiet first day of the legal tampering period, the Jets were major players on Tuesday.
They agreed to terms with five players, quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Josh McCown, running back Isaiah Crowell, cornerback Trumaine Johnson, and linebacker Avery Williamson.
The day started with the Jets relatively inactive. Then word broke that Kirk Cousins, the most coveted free agent quarterback in years, chose the Minnesota Vikings over the Jets. Things sure picked up after that point, though, as the team that started the day with the most cap space in the NFL got into action.
On today’s podcast Andrew Hershkowitz joins me to discuss the action of the day. Andrew is a frequent podcast guest and has worked for entities like PFF and Bleacher Report in the past. We talk about topics such as Cousins, the signings, and my trip to Trader Joe’s on the show.
