The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl Champions. It was a long path from 1960, the last time the Eagles won an NFL Championship, to today. There was plenty of heartbreak along the way. You don’t go close to six decades without a championship unless there are mistakes.

Jets fans can relate to a certain extent. We are nearing the 50th anniversary of the Jets’ last and only championship season. If nothing else, Philadelphia’s victory can give Jets fans hope that a long-time struggling franchise can eventually figure things out. It wasn’t even that long ago that the Eagles seemed like a struggling and aimless franchise. It was less than two years ago. That is the topic of today’s podcast.
