On today’s podcast we look at things I have gotten dead wrong.
Making predictions about the NFL is dangerous business. Whenever you make prognostications about anything related to human behavior, it is dangerous business. People are unpredictable, and so are the outcomes they create. We would be well-advised to bring a dose of humility to any prediction we make.
Frequently, we fail to do so when making predictions about the NFL, and we look ridiculous in the future.
Today I will share three of my worst predictions through the years on the show.
Jace Amaro: I thought he was going to be an elite matchup nightmare in the passing game.
2005 Jets: I thought they had the look of a Super Bowl team.
D’Brickashaw Ferguson: I didn’t like the pick at the time the Jets made it.
After you listen to the show, I’d love to hear your worst predictions through the years.
