NY Jets podcast: Looking back at Mike Maccagnan’s first Draft class

We like to judge Draft picks immediately, but it takes a few years to truly know how good a Draft class was. Some players need time to develop. Others get off to great starts but are unable to sustain them. I think a minimum of three years is usually necessary. There are always exceptions, but you generally know after three years whether a player is going to have a successful career.

Mike Maccagnan’s first Draft class with the Jets has now been in the NFL for three years. On today’s podcast we look at where that class currently stands. How do the picks and the trades the Jets made in 2015 look today? At the time, there was plenty of excitement. Now things don’t look quite so rosy.
