The New York Jets take to the road today as they pay a visit to their northern New York neighbors, the Buffalo Bills. The Jets are looking for their first road win since opening day. The game starts at 1:00 pm EST.
The weather in Buffalo will be cold and breezy. Skies will start out partly cloudy, clearing to bright and sunny for the second half of the game. Temperatures will be cold, in the low 30s throughout the game. Winds will be brisk out of the west southwest throughout the game at around 15 mph, with occasional gusts as high as 25 mph. Humidity will be high, in the mid 70s, making for a clammy feel to the game. There will be a near zero risk of precipitation throughout the game. With the breezy conditions wind chills will be in the low 20s, making for somewhat difficult conditions for the passing game. While the conditions won’t be nearly as brutal as they can get at their worst in Buffalo in the winter, this should still be a good first test for California guy Sam Darnold to see how he fares in typical Northeast winter weather.
For those watching the game at home, conditions will be comfortable, with steady temperatures in the low 70s, low humidity, no wind to speak of and no chance of showers.
Enjoy the game everybody.
