Jets vs Bills: Five Bold Predictions

NFL: Buffalo Bills at New York Jets Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets square off against the Bills once again this weekend and it’s time to make some bold predictions. After their last meeting, you might want to consider the team showing up a bold prediction, because boy, was it embarrassing. Nevertheless, it’s disclaimer time.

Disclaimer: A Bold Prediction is not something that is likely or probable to happen. Bold Predictions are blind guesses that are laughably optimistic beyond what anyone can reasonably expect to happen, but not so far as to be virtually impossible. Saying that Leonard Williams will get a sack is not a Bold Prediction, nor is saying that Bilal Powell will run for 650 yards. By definition, Bold Predictions are unlikely, but not impossible, to occur. Since this is a Jets site, they are also pro-Jets predictions. As always, the Final Score prediction is meant to be realistic, not a Bold Prediction.

Here are my five bold predictions for tomorrow’s game:

  1. The Jets defense forces 3 turnovers.
  2. Isaiah Crowell leads the game in rushing with 150+ yards.
  3. Four Jets have 50+ yards receiving.
  4. The Jets offense goes without a sack and the defense accumulates 4+ sacks.
  5. Jamal Adams has at least one tackle, pass defense, sack, and interception.

And a bonus prediction: This game helps people forget about the last one, but not quite in a good way.

Final Score: It’s really getting to the point where I have to deeply investigate our opponents so I can accurately determine just how much we’re going to lose by each week. Can’t be as bad as the last time, 28-10 Bills.
