SNF: Colts vs Titans Game Thread

Sunday Night Football, Week 17. Last game of the 2018 NFL regular season. How did it get it so late so soon? Tonight the Indianapolis Colts travel to Music City to take on the Tennessee Titans.

This is how you end a season. A winner take all game. Win and you’re in. Lose and you’re out. The 9-6 Indianapolis Colts come into tonight’s game on a wildly improbable playoff run. This team was 1-5 after six games, coming off a devastating loss to the New York Jets and all but buried in the playoff race. Since that low point in the season the Colts have been as hot as any team in the NFL. They have reeled off eight wins in their last nine games, their only loss coming in a 6-0 nightmare against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts look to complete a season sweep of their division rivals, the Tennessee Titans, and complete their fairy tale run to the 2018 NFL playoffs.

Standing in the way of the Colts is a Tennessee Titans team that was embarrassed, 38-10, when these two teams met in November in Indianapolis. However, the Titans are on a roll of their own, winners of four straight and six of eight to position themselves for a win and you’re in game in front of their hometown fans.

There’s no better way to end a season than a winner take all game. It’s the Colts and the Titans in a game where the winner survives to fight another day and the loser goes home for the season and plots their next move in preparation for 2019.
