Before the final game of the regular season, Jets players traditionally vote on team awards. The most prominent of these awards is the Curtis Martin Team MVP. It comes as no surprise that this year’s honor goes to Jamal Adams.

Adams has been one of the few bright spots in this season. The second year pro has 104 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and an interception through the first 15 games, which was enough to net him a Pro Bowl spot. The other Jets Pro Bowlers were the kicker and the return guy so Adams did not have a ton of competition for the MVP spot.

For the other awards, Steve McLendon took home the Dennis Byrd Most Inspirational Player. Quincy Enunwa won the Ed Block Most Courageous Player. Jonotthan Harrison won the Marty Lyons Community Service Award. Avery Williamson won the Kyle Clifton Good Guy Award, and Chris Herndon was the Bill Hampton Rookie Who Acts Like a Pro.

You can read more about the team awards on the official website of the Jets.
