In a season that has been full of miserable defeats, the Jets suffered another one yesterday at the Meadowlands. Despite being in control for much of the game and holding a late 15 point lead, the Green Bay Packers mounted a late comeback to net a 44-38 overtime victory in the Meadowlands.
On today’s podcast we look back at a game that can be pinned on the defense, particularly a few prominent players who continued to come up small. One of them was watching things from the locker room because of his own selfishness. Another walked out of the locker room out of the game rather than speak to the media. The troubling thing is this was the unit that was supposed to be the strength.
There also were some positives to take from the game, namely the sustained excellent play of Sam Darnold along with a few of Sam’s weapons.
Thanks for listening.
