Week 16 of the 2018 NFL season continues with a handful of late afternoon games.

The best of the late afternoon games features the Pittsburgh Steelers going on the road to face the New Orleans Saints. The Steelers are trying to cling to first place in the AFC North with the surging Baltimore Ravens breathing down their necks. A win against the Saints maintains the slightest of Steeler leads for the AFC North title, with just one game remaining on the schedule. A loss drops the Steelers out of first place and in grave danger of missing the playoffs altogether. A win at home for the Saints today would clinch the best record in the NFL in 2018, the top seed in the NFC and home field throughout the playoffs. This is a crucial game for both teams.

In the other late games the first place 10-4 Chicago Bears travel to California to take on the 4-10 San Francisco 49ers, a game in which Jets fans will have a rooting interest in the home team winning to help the Jets draft position; and the suddenly vulnerable first place 11-3 Los Angeles Rams travel to Phoenix to take on the 3-11 Arizona Cardinals. Jets fans will also have a rooting interest in this game as a Cardinals upset would help the Jets draft position.

Enjoy the games everybody. Use this thread to comment on whichever late afternoon games catch your fancy.
