Dartmouth Sports

The New York Jets have signed defensive back Charlie Miller to the practice squad. Miller replaces Anthony Wint, who was recently promoted to the 53 man roster.

Charlie Miller is a 24 year old, 6’ 0”, 190 pound defensive back out of Dartmouth University. After Miller was not selected in the 2017 NFL draft, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Miller spent time with the Jaguars practice squad in the 2017 season and was with the Jaguars in training camp in 2018 before being cut prior to the start of the 2018 NFL season.

Charlie Miller has good speed, running in the mid 4.4 range for the 40 yard dash. He was a second team All Ivy selection as a safety for Dartmouth in 2016. For his college career Miller had 70 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 11 passes defended and 3 interceptions.
