Sunday Night Football, Week 9. Tonight the Green Bay Packers travel to Foxboro, Massachusetts to take on the New England Patriots in a rare matchup of two legendary NFL quarterbacks.
The Packers, led by the best quarterback in the NFL in Aaron Rodgers, come into the game a disappointing 3-3-1, with just two wins in their last six games. Those two wins came at the expense of the lowly Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers, meaning the Packers haven’t beaten a quality opponent since their opening day victory over the Chicago Bears. A loss in this game would do severe damage to the playoff hopes of the Packers.
In contrast to the Packers, the Patriots, led by ageless wonder Tom Brady, come into this game on fire, winners of five straight games. With a 6-2 record the Patriots are on track for their billionth consecutive AFC East title and one of the top seeds in the AFC playoffs.
This one is for anyone who loves to watch the best quarterbacks the NFL has to offer. It’s the Packers and the Patriots in a great Sunday Night Football game.
Enjoy the game everybody.
