The New York Jets take their talents to South Beach as they travel south to take on the Miami Dolphins today in Miami, Florida. The game starts at 1:00 pm EST (did you all remember to set your clocks back one hour?) The weather in Miami will be pretty much the norm for Miami this time of year, which means pretty terrible for football. It will be warm and sticky with very high humidity. Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the game. Winds will be out of the east southeast at 10-15 mph. Temperatures will hover in the low to mid 80s throughout the game. Humidity will be high, in the high 70s, making it feel like it’s around 90 degrees on the field - thoroughly miserable conditions for the players, which will carry the risks of dehydration, cramping and heat exhaustion. The risk of showers will be minimal to start the game, rising to around 25% by game’s end. This will be a hot, sticky mess of a day for the players.

For those watching the game at home, conditions will be comfortable, with steady temperatures in the low 70s, low humidity, no wind to speak of and no chance of showers.

Enjoy the game everybody.
