Week 12 of the 2018 NFL season continues with a handful of late afternoon games.
Most of the country will be able to see the game between the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers on CBS. The 7-2-1 Steelers are trying to keep their current first week bye playoff position. The Broncos at 4-6 are playing mostly for pride.
In other late games the 5-5 Miami Dolphins take on the 5-5 Indianapolis Colts in a battle to keep playoff hopes alive. The loser of this game will see their playoff chances nearly evaporate.
Finally we have the 7-3 Los Angeles Chargers, a legitimate Super Bowl contender, taking on the 2-8 Arizona Cardinals, a legitimate contender for worst team in the NFL. Unless the Chargers are caught sleeping or the Cardinals play way above their heads, the primary interest in this likely mismatch will be the continued development of Chargers rookie quarterback Josh Rosen.
Enjoy the games everybody. Use this thread to comment on whatever late afternoon games catch your fancy.
