We are unfortunately at the point of the season where it makes sense to see where the Jets stack up in the order of next year’s NFL Draft.
Things will change over the final seven weeks of the season, but as things currently stand the Jets own the fifth pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
The current order of the early picks is posted below for your viewing pleasure.
- Oakland Raiders (1-8)
- San Francisco 49ers (2-8)
- New York Giants (2-7)
- Arizona Cardinals (2-7)
- New York Jets (3-7)
- Buffalo Bills (3-7)
With a quarterback of the future in hand but no second round pick, the Jets would figure to be in position to trade down if they landed a high pick. They also might look to stay put add a big talent, particularly if that big talent happens to be an offensive lineman or a pass rusher.
We will update the team’s Draft status as the season progresses.
