What was the most important play of Sunday’s game?
It is a tricky question this week. This wasn’t really a contest where there was one knockout blow. It felt like the game just slowly slipped away from the Jets.
If I was to choose a single play, I would probably go with Latavius Murray’s 11 yard touchdown in the third quarter. After the extra point, the Vikings were staked to a 17-7 lead. Considering the impact the wind was having on the game and the way the Jets offense was struggling, this was a really important moment. Overcoming a two score deficit was going to be a tall order for the Jets against the Minnesota team. The Jets were never closer than 10 points for the rest of the game.
