Sunday Night Football, Week 7. Tonight the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Kansas City to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a showdown of first place AFC teams.

The Chiefs are appearing on Sunday Night Football for a second consecutive week. Last week the New England Patriots dealt the Chiefs their first loss of the season in a wild shootout in Foxboro. The Chiefs will be looking to avoid their first losing streak of the season tonight. The Chiefs feature one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. Second year phenom quarterback Patrick Mahomes is playing at an All Pro level in his first year as a starter, and he is surrounded by explosive weapons at the skill positions like tight end Travis Kelce, running back Kareem Hunt and receiver Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs have yet to score less than 27 points in any game this season, and it will be a challenge for the Bengals to keep pace.

The Bengals come into the game with a 4-2 record, good for a tie for first place in the AFC North, coming off a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Like the Chiefs, the Bengals are also looking to avoid their first losing streak. The Bengals offense features a plethora of weapons, starting with resurgent quarterback Andy Dalton. Dalton has outstanding running back Joe Mixon supporting him in the running game, and a trio of explosive receivers in A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd and John Ross to throw to in the passing game. The Bengals have scored 34 or more points in four of their first six games and currently rank 6th in the NFL in scoring.

This one could be a highly entertaining match with offensive fireworks galore. It’s the Chiefs and the Bengals in a great Sunday Night Football shootout.

Enjoy the game everybody.
