MNF: Chiefs vs Broncos

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Monday Night Football, Week 4. Tonight the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Denver, Colorado to take on the Denver Broncos.

The 3-0 Chiefs are red hot, in first place in the AFC West. The Chiefs are led by possibly the best set of skill position players in the NFL. Tight end Travis Kelce, wide receiver Tyreek Hill and running back Kareem Hunt give second year quarterback Patrick Mahomes a plethora of weapons to exploit, and Mahomes has taken advantage to the tune of 13 touchdown passes, zero interceptions, and an absurd 137 passer rating. So far nobody has been able to slow down the onslaught of the Chiefs’ offensive juggernaut.

The Broncos come into the game with a 2-1 record, good for 2nd place in the AFC West. The Broncos offense, led by journeyman quarterback Case Keenum, aging wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas, and rookie sensation running back Phillip Lindsay, isn’t in the same class as the Chiefs. The Broncos will probably have to rely on their defense, led by pass rushing star Von Miller and emerging pass rusher Bradley Chubb, to limit the Chiefs offense and cool off Patrick Mahomes.

It’s the Chiefs and the Broncos in a battle for first place in the AFC West on Monday Night Football.

Enjoy the game everybody.
