We are at Conference Championship Sunday. By the end of the night, we will know the two teams contesting Super Bowl LII.
Note that the schedule for this weekend is different from your typical NFL Sunday. The first game kicks off at 3:05 p.m. Eastern, not the normal 1:00. The second game gets underway at 6:40 p.m. rather than the 4:00-4:30 range.
In the opener the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The Patriots look to go to their second straight Super Bowl, their third in four years, and the eighth in the Brady-Belichick Era. In their way is one of the league’s best defenses.
The nightcap pits Nick Foles and the Eagles against Case Keenum and the Vikings. The Vikings have a chance to become the first team to play in a Super Bowl in their home stadium, but to get home they must win a road game in Philly.
