Early in the offseason, the Jets have already gotten to work. The team announced the signings of nine players to reserve/future contracts.
G Ben Braden, Michigan (6'6", 329)
T Korren Kirven, Alabama (6'4", 315)
WR Jalin Marshall, Ohio State (5'10", 200)
WR Tre McBride, William & Mary (6'0", 210)
DL Claude Pelon, Southern California (6'4", 300)
DB Terrell Sinkfield, Northern Iowa (6'1", 195)
QB Joel Stave, Wisconsin (6'4", 230)
WR Damore'ea Stringfellow, Mississippi (6'2", 222)
WR Daniel Williams, Jackson State (6'2", 234)
Most of these names are somewhat familiar to people who stay on top of the roster. Almost all of these players have been part of the Jets organization in the last year either on the roster, on the practice squad, or in training camp.
Marshall is probably the most recognizable name. He started 2016 as the primary return man for the Jets but played his way out of the role.
