Ohio State

QB, J.T. Barrett - - 6’2”, 220 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • A very good runner
  • Stays poised in the pocket

Weaknesses:

  • Needs more pace on passes out to the numbers
  • Needs to be more efficient on deep passes

OT, Jamarco Jones - - 6’5”, 310 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Good power at point of attack
  • Is well rounded in the types of blocks he can make

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to work on his blocking of inside rushes
  • Can be caught out of position sometimes

OG, Billy Price - - 6’5”, 312 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Gets great push on the line
  • Is a great run blocker

Weaknesses:

  • Had a lot of penalties
  • Needs to becomes a better pass blocker

DI, Dre’mont Jones - - 6’3”, 295 lbs, RS Sophomore

Strengths:

  • Great at stopping the run
  • Is a very efficient tackler

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to becomes a stable pass rusher
  • Will need to develop his pass rushing moves

Edge, Sam Hubbard - - 6’5”, 265 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Very efficient against the run
  • Has a high percentage of pressures

Weaknesses

  • Can he rush against better left tackles
  • Needs a better inside move

Edge, Tyquan Lewis - - 6’4”, 265 lbs, Senior

Strengths:

  • Has a great bull rush
  • Has a high percentage of pressures

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to boost his run stop %
  • Needs to win more on the inside

LB, Jerome Baker - - 6’1”, 225 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • Has great range
  • Very good in coverage

  • Undersized
  • Only 1 year of production

CB, Denzel Ward - - 5’10”, 198 lbs, Junior

Strengths:

  • One of the fastest players in the college football
  • Can close on receivers quickly

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to become more fluid with change of direction
  • misses a lot of tackles

  • Makes all the plays from inside and outside the pocket
  • Very efficient when under pressure

  • Can he be great without his top wide receivers
  • Can make more big time throws

Strengths:

  • Has very good speed/size combo
  • Forces a lot of missed tackles

Weaknesses:

  • Needs to work on blocking
  • Needs to show more from an in-line position

OT, Orlando Brown - - 6’8”, 360 lbs, RS Junior

Strengths:

  • A very efficient pass blocker
  • Very rarely gives up pressures

Weaknesses:

  • Penalties
  • Needs to avoid negative run plays

Strengths:

  • Well rounded with inside and outside moves
  • Did well in coverage

Weaknesses:

  • Can work on his bull rush
  • Tackling efficiency
