MNF: Cowboys vs Cardinals Game Thread

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Monday Night Football, Week 3. The 2017 NFL Monday Night slate continues with an NFC showdown between the 1-1 Dallas Cowboys and the 1-1 Arizona Cardinals. The Cowboys travel across the Southwest to University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to take on the Cardinals. The Cowboys are coming off a blowout loss to the Denver Broncos, while the Cardinals are coming off an overtime squeaker win against the Indianapolis Colts. This game is a renewal of an old rivalry from when these two teams used to play in the same division.

The Cowboys are led by sophomore quarterback Dak Prescott, seeking to prove his rookie year success was no aberration, along with dynamic sophomore running back Ezekiel Elliot, running behind perhaps the best offensive line in the NFL.

The Cardinals counter with aging quarterback Carson Palmer and aging wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. All World running back David Johnson will not suit up for the next couple of months at least, due to injury, leaving the Cardinals undermanned at running back. In addition the Cardinals will be without former 1000 yard receiver John Brown. The Cardinals will be severely tested in this game without some of their best weapons.

Enjoy the game everybody. As always we ask that you neither ask for nor post illegal streaming links.
