Austin Seferian-Jenkins returned from suspension yesterday, and he stepped right into the starting lineup. Seferian-Jenkins participated in 48 snaps, which equates to 76% of the total offensive plays. Will Tye only saw 22 snaps as the only other Jets tight end to play.
ArDarius Stewart made a memorable catch, but he didn’t have many other opportunities. That play was one of just five he had in the entire game. This wasn’t just Jeremy Kerley eating into his snaps. Charone Peake seemed to leapfrog him at least for this game with 16 snaps on offense.
