Jets vs. Dolphins Game Thread

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets have their home opener today. New York hosts the Miami Dolphins in an early afternoon kickoff at MetLife Stadium.

In many ways, this has a different feel from a normal home opener. Part of that has to do with the team's 0-2 record. It likely has a lot to do with expectations. Many believed heading into the season like the Jets did not have much of a team, and things have looked that way through two weeks. We are at the point where most people seem to think that the Jets will have a bad season. The question is how bad. We might have a better feel for it after today's game against a solid but unspectacular opponent. In normal times, a September home game like this would look like a win. Will it be for the Jets?
