Jets vs Dolphins: Five Bold Predictions

NFL: Miami Dolphins at New York Jets Dennis Schneidler-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome back to the weekly Bold Predictions, 2017 edition. Disclaimer: A Bold Prediction is not something that is likely or probable to happen. Bold Predictions are blind guesses that are laughably optimistic beyond what anyone can reasonably expect to happen, but not so far as to be virtually impossible. Saying that Leonard Williams will get a sack is not a Bold Prediction, nor is saying that Bilal Powell will run for 650 yards. By definition, Bold Predictions are unlikely, but not impossible, to occur. Since this is a Jets site, they are also pro-Jets predictions. As always, the Final Score prediction is meant to be realistic, not a Bold Prediction.

After killing it last week with a perfect 0/5, let’s look at the upcoming game against the Dolphins:

  1. Two Jets running backs will catch a TD.
  2. The Jets will hold Jay Ajayi to under 50 yards.
  3. The Dolphins offense will be held to under 300 yards and 15 points.
  4. The Jets will sack Cutler 6 times.
  5. A Jets TE catches a touchdown.

Bonus Prediction: Mo Wilkerson reminds us all why he got paid the big bucks with an epic sack before he disappears completely again.

Final Score: Jets 21, Dolphins 30
