Sunday certainly was not the start the Jets were hoping for. New York lost its opener to the Buffalo Bills 21-12.
If you are looking for some sort of silver lining, you could look to the offensive line. The Jets ended the mystery of the starting right tackle by going with Brandon Shell. The second year player played all 58 snaps on offense for the Jets and performed at a relatively high level. New additions Will Tye and Jermaine Kearse also saw extensive playing time in their Jets debuts.
