Jets vs. Bills Final Score: New York Starts 0-1 With a 21-12 Loss

NFL: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

The 2017 season did not get off to a good start for the Jets. They lost to the Bills today in Buffalo 21-12. There was plenty of talk about the opportunity to finish Week 1 in first place. Instead, the Jets looked very much like a contender for the top overall pick.

The offense looked every bit as unproductive as many have expected. The Jets managed only 214 yards and 11 first downs. Josh McCown had a ghastly 187 yards passing on 37 attempts paired with 2 interceptions.

The Bills ran for 190 yards as the inside linebackers were constantly in the wrong lanes.

And the coaching left much to be desired with a suspect gameplan that only got Bilal Powell 12 touches and multiple puzzling game management calls.

The scary thing is that this was one of the most winnable games on the schedule, and the Jets were handled pretty easily.

Talk about it below. We will have more this evening.
