Enunwa suffered the injury in a drill. He was running a route to the end zone. The pass was incomplete. He went down and was tended to by trainers. Enunwa walked off the field on his own power albeit gingerly.
Enunwa is the best receiver the Jets have. In fact, he is the only proven receiver the Jets have. By only receiver, I mean he has the only 600 yard season of any receiver on the roster. It is difficult to overstate how important his presence is to this offense.
The only good news is the season is over a month away from starting so he has plenty of time to recover.
