Sloppy seemed to be the word of the day Thursday at Jets training camp. In the course of a long training camp there are always going to be days where things just don’t look great. Yesterday was one of them for the Jets. The silver lining was how fierce the pass rush was. The about training camp is that when somebody produces, it comes at the expense of somebody else. In this case, the offensive line allowed 12 sacks on the day.
On today’s podcast, we examine Thursday’s practice. Notably we look at the struggles of the offense. There were issues with ball security and penalties, but the focus was on the struggles of the protection. There also were developments with an injury to a key rookie and the kicking battle worth discussing.
