Our breakdown of the Jets roster moves on to Javarius Leamon.

Name: Javarius Leamon

Number: 65

Year with Jets: 1st

Projected Role: Competing for backup offensive line/practice squad spot

His 2016: Leamon was Second Team All-MEAC at South Carolina State. He went undrafted, and the Jets signed him.

2017 will be a success if: Leamon earns a spot on the practice squad and shows improvement over the course of the season. This is your prototypical small school developmental prospect. He probably isn’t close to being ready to playing in an NFL game. The goal here is to display enough upside in training camp and the preseason to merit development.

Odds of making the roster: Longshot (less than 25%)
