Our Jets roster c2017 will be a success if:ountdown now moves to Romar Morris.ountdown now moves to Romar Morris.
Name: Romar Morris
Year with Jets: 2nd
Projected Role: Battling for depth running back roster spot.
His 2016: The Jets signed Morris as a late undrafted free agent. There were a few rumblings of him showing signs of life in training camp, but he was part of the first round of cuts after the third preseason game.
2017 will be a success if: Morris shows enough ability to make the practice squad and stay. Running back is one of the few positions on the roster that is close to full. Bilal Powell will be on the team. Matt Forte will as well barring a surprise. Elijah McGuire likely has a leg up on the third spot since the Jets invested a Draft pick in him. It won’t be easy to find another spot unless somebody stands out on special teams.
Odds of making the roster: Longshot (less than 25%)
