Soon to be former Jets wide receiver Eric Decker said goodbye to the team and its fans today on his Twitter account.
Thank you @nyjets for the opportunity the last 3 years! I truly made some great memories and friendships that will last forever!

To all the diehard fans-I wish we would of accomplished more for you but I sincerely appreciate the support through all the ups and downs!

Decker won't go down in Jets history as an all-time great with the franchise the way David Harris will. He was never a dominant force on the field. One of his three seasons he spent mostly on the shelf with an injury.
I still will remember Decker fondly. The partnership he had that second season with Brandon Marshall was a thing of beauty. And that first season a late season flourish led to him finishing with over 900 receiving yards in a hopeless passing offense.
You might disagree, but if I could do it over, I'd make that signing again.
