Can Christian Hackenberg be...

Trevor Siemian? Siemian played for Northwestern and his cumulative stats are fairly mediocre. He did not complete 60% of his passes and his total TD:INT ratio was 27:24. Hackenberg compiled a 56.1% completion percentage at Penn State but his TD:INT was 48:31 for his college career. Siemian sat behind Peyton Manning for a year before winning the starting job in 2016. As a first year starter for the Broncos, he completed just under 60% of his passes (59.5%) and had 18 TD's to 10 INT's in 14 games. Hackenberg will have every opportunity to win the starting QB job as a second year player. If the Jets can get that from Hackenberg, 2017 will be more successful than anyone is anticipating.
