Jets offensive coordinator John Morton told the media yesterday the three quarterbacks on the roster will all get a shot with the first team offense during OTA’s.
Jets OC John Morton says all three QBs will get equal reps with starters during OTAs. Said they're all getting a "great opportunity."

It makes sense to do this during OTA’s. It isn’t clear which of the three quarterbacks is the best, and Morton hasn’t worked much with these guys so maybe this will offer him a better feel for the direction of this battle.
In OTA’s this shouldn’t be a big deal. I do wonder whether this will continue into training camp, though. There probably aren’t enough camp reps to go to three players. Training camp isn’t just about finding the starter. It is also about making sure the player who is picked to be starter gets adequate preparation. To what extent will these OTA’s be used to possibly eliminate an option? We will have to wait a while to find out. For now, all three are in the mix.
