"All I needed was just to get my foot in the door," Leggett, the 151st overall pick of last month's draft, said at the Green & White's recent rookie minicamp. "The Jets gave me the opportunity. I'm forever grateful and I'm extremely blessed."

"The way Coach Morton used the tight end at the Saints, it's definitely a position that's going to be there this year," he said. "I'm excited for my chance, excited to be here, and I'll just go out there and fight to make the team and play on Sunday."
The Jets now have five of their nine Draft picks signed from the 2017 class. The four who remain unsigned include the picks in the first three rounds, Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye, and ArDarius Stewart, along with fifth round pick Dylan Donahue.
