The NFL recently announced the dates and times of preseason games. We already knew the four opponents for the Jets and the order in which the games would take place. We did not have firm dates and times, though.
Week 1 Saturday Aug. 12: home vs. Titans, 7:30 p.m. TV: WCBS-2
Week 2 Saturday Aug. 19: at Lions, 7:30 p.m. TV: WCBS-2
Week 3 Saturday August 26: at Giants, 7 p.m. TV: WNBC-4
Week 4 Thursday August 31: home vs. Eagles, 7 p.m. TV: WCBS-2
So clear out your Saturday nights in August. You will get to see Jets football.
There is no word yet on what the NFL’s out of market package will look like for the preseason. Over the last few years, they have sold the ability to stream out of market games only as part of their expensive GamePass subscription. Hopefully that changes for the sake of fans.
