Kristian Dyer reports the Jets will be conducting a visit with former Penn State wide receiver Chris Godwin this week.
A source tells Sporting News that Godwin will visit with the Detroit Lions next week, the Baltimore Ravens on April 11 and the New York Jets on April 12. Godwin also will visit with the Philadelphia Eagles the following week, followed by a two-day visit with the Tennessee Titans, the source said.
Godwin had 59 catches for 982 yards and 11 touchdowns last year for Big Ten Champion Penn State.
Our own David Wyatt is quite high on Godwin. You can read David’s scouting report here.
It wouldn't surprise me if in 5 years, Chris Godwin is considered to be the best receiver to come out of the 2017 NFL draft.

There isn't a great deal not to like about Godwin, he has size, strength and speed, with excellent hand/eye coordination, good vertical ability with a habit of catching the ball away from his body. With better and more consistent QB play at Penn State (and a better offensive line to give the QB time to throw), I think Godwin's numbers would have been a lot better.
