University of Washington cornerback Kevin King visited the Jets on Monday.
University of Washington cornerback Kevin King is visiting the @NYJets today, I'm told. NYJ looking to upgrade in secondary

This is interesting. It is not the first time the Jets have been linked to King. Using one of the 30 predraft visits on him certainly indicates interest on the Jets’ part.
I do find it a bit surprising to see the Jets so interested in King. This is a cornerback class considered to be very deep with a lot of starter potential. With that in mind, I’m not sure King has the traits the Jets ideally would look for in their system the way some of the other prospects do. He’s not particularly strong or fluid. His game also needs more refinement than a lot of guys projected to be taken around the same time. I see better fits for King and the Jets at corner, which makes me wonder whether the Jets might be looking at him as a safety.
