Can the Jets Rebuild in New York?

NFL: New York Jets at Miami Dolphins Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The other day we heard some comments from Buster Skrine critical of the idea a team could rebuild in New York.

"You can't rebuild in New York, because y'all will eat us up. Ain't no rebuilding here. It's getting right to the point. This is a competing team. We still have the players to compete."

Skrine made the comments to ESPN. I don’t think anybody would question why Skrine would say these things. He is going to be taking the field for the Jets in 2017. It is his job to try and help the team win games. He does raise a question. Can a team rebuild in New York?

I think the answer is pretty simple. I say yes. In fact, I don’t think the Jets have much of a choice because things are not looking promising in the short run. That is the topic of our podcast today.
