Jets Select Marcus Maye With The 39th Pick In The 2017 NFL Draft

The Jets have selected safety Marcus Maye with the 39th pick in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Marcus Maye is a 6'  0", 210  pound safety out of Florida.  Maye is a rangy and instinctive, hard hitting safety that can play in the box and on the back end.  He and first round pick Jamal Adams create a young, talented, hard hitting tandem of versatile safeties for the Jets.
