Mike Mayock’s Final 2017 NFL Mock Draft Has O.J. Howard to the Jets

NFL: Combine Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

NFL Network’s Mike Mayock has his final mock draft of the year out.

In this mock, Mayock has the Cleveland Browns jumping the Jets by trading up to the fifth pick to take quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. If you wanted Trubisky, the Browns ruined your dream. If you wanted to trade down to stockpile picks, the Browns ruined your dream. It also shows the challenge the Jets face. If some team wants a player badly enough to trade up to the Jets’ sixth pick, they probably would want to trade ahead of the Jets to get that guy if possible.

The Jets end up with Alabama tight end O.J. Howard in this mock. The full first round is posted below for your enjoyment.
